1980 Mk1 Volkswagen Golf GTI with small back

This is a very rare model. Very few of the first Golf GTi models were made and few ever reached the U.K.
This left the factory with the small rear lights , a 4 speed gearbox and tartan seats.
It was family owned from new and although it has covered 209000kms it has 28 stamped services and 16 emission stamps ALL from a VAG main agent.
These cars are fetching in excess of €40000 in reasonable condition. This could be one of the best.
It is currently having substantial Welding and is available as a welded shell or we can take the restoration further.
