1985 BMW E28 M535i – SOLD

To face off with BMW’s German counterpart Mercedes, BMW introduced the M535i. The 3430cc straight six engine in its prime produced 218Bhp, a top speed of 143 mph and a 0 – 62 time of around 7 seconds. This example with the ZF Triple Range Switchable automatic gearbox was a popular choice, due to being able to switch between a relaxing grand tourer with comfort to a hard-hitting sports super saloon. Paired with disc brakes all around and competitive sports suspension this heavy saloon handled like a dream.

Covering only 102,000 miles over the last 33 years with 4 owners in total this car has been cared for greatly with many receipts to prove. Most notably, the gearbox has been fully re-commissioned by Bristol transmissions and overseen by rally prep to enable that the warranty is in effect. This alongside a full engine service in November 2017 gives you the perfect piece of mind when investing into a classic M Car.
